Cookie Policy
Jungle Cleaner uses cookies to keep you signed in and nothing else. This page explains why there is no consent banner.

Why you were not asked to accept anything
Consent is required for cookies that are not strictly necessary — advertising, cross-site tracking, profiling. We do not set any of those. The only cookies we use are the ones that keep you signed in, which are exempt, and our analytics works without cookies at all. So there is no banner to click, because there is nothing to consent to.
What we actually set
| Cookie | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Session | Keeps you signed in as you move between pages. Without it you would log in on every click. | Until you sign out or it expires |
| CSRF token | Protects the sign-in flow against cross-site request forgery, so another site cannot act as you. | The browsing session |
| Callback state | Set briefly during sign-in so we can return you where you started and verify the response came from the provider you chose. | Minutes |
These are set by us and are strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for, so under the ePrivacy rules and Portuguese Lei 41/2004 they do not require consent. Blocking them will stop you being able to sign in.
Analytics without cookies
We use Vercel Analytics to count page views and see whether people manage to install the tool. It sets no cookies, assigns no persistent identifier, and does not follow you across other sites. We see totals, not people.
At checkout
If you subscribe, the payment step is handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle sets its own cookies to run the checkout and prevent fraud. Those only appear when you actually start a purchase, and are governed by Paddle's cookie policy.
Other browser storage
If you arrive through an invite link, we keep the code in your browser's session storage so it survives the round trip to Google or GitHub and can be applied when you come back. It is discarded when you close the tab and is never used to identify you.
Controlling cookies
Every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies in its settings. Blocking ours will break signing in, which is the only thing they do. There is no tracking here for you to turn off.
