How is this different from AWS Cost Explorer's Savings Plan recommendations?

AWS recommendations often assume higher future usage than history supports, which inflates estimated savings and hourly commitments. The Finder sizes commitments from your actual line items, applies Database Savings Plan eligibility (Gen 7+ instances, Valkey-only ElastiCache, no T-class), and recommends a Reserved Instance when that beats a Savings Plan.

Do I need a Jungle Cleaner account?

No. The AWS Savings Plan Finder is free and does not require sign-in. The resulting report has a private shareable URL that stays available for six months.

What AWS bill PDF do I upload?

In the AWS console go to Billing → Bills, click Print, choose every option, and save as PDF. A summary invoice will not work. You can upload up to 24 monthly bills (about two years). Each PDF must stay under 4.5 MB.
