Terms of Service
The agreement between you and WebShaped LDA for using Jungle Cleaner — what we do, what we charge, and where responsibility sits.
Last updated 22 August 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
Jungle Cleaner is operated by WebShaped LDA, NIPC 514348335, VAT PT514348335, registered at Rua de Moçambique 12, Lisboa 1170-245, Portugal. Contact: privacy@junglecleaner.com.
By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
2. What the service does
Jungle Cleaner connects to an AWS account you own, reads its configuration and cost data, and reports where you appear to be spending money on things you do not need. It presents each finding with an estimated cost, an explanation, and — on paid plans — suggested steps to resolve it. You can use it through the web dashboard or through your AI coding tool over MCP.
It is an advisory tool. It tells you what it found. Acting on that is your decision.
3. What we access in your AWS account
You grant access by deploying an IAM role in your own account. That role is scoped to read-only access, plus the cost and recommendation APIs we need. You can revoke it at any time by deleting the role, and we will immediately lose all access.
One exception, stated plainly. When you first connect an account, we ask AWS to switch on Compute Optimizer and Cost Optimization Hub for it, because their recommendations are a large part of what we can find. Those are the only changes we ever make in your account. They enable AWS's own free analysis features and do not alter, resize, stop or delete any of your infrastructure.
Beyond that, we never create, modify, resize, stop or delete your resources. We have no ability to.
4. Acting on findings is your responsibility
We will tell you that a resource looks unused. We check what we reasonably can before saying so. We cannot know your business. A database with no queries for thirty days might be abandoned, or it might be the disaster recovery replica, the quarterly reporting warehouse, or the thing an auditor asks for once a year.
You are responsible for deciding what to delete and for the consequences of deleting it. Take backups. Check with the people who built it. Anything you run — whether by hand, by script, or by asking an AI tool to act on our output — you run on your own account and at your own risk.
5. Estimates are estimates
Savings figures are calculated from AWS pricing and your recent usage. They are our best estimate, not a promise. Real savings depend on your commitments, discounts, private pricing, and what you actually change. We do not guarantee that you will save any particular amount, or anything at all.
6. Your account
- You must keep your sign-in and your API keys secure. Treat an API key like a password.
- You are responsible for everything done through your account and your keys, including by your AI tools.
- Only connect AWS accounts you own or are authorised to administer.
- One person per account. Do not share logins.
7. Acceptable use
Do not:
- Connect an AWS account you have no right to access.
- Try to break, overload, reverse-engineer or circumvent limits on the service.
- Resell or white-label the service without our written agreement.
- Use it to build a directly competing product.
We may suspend an account that does these things, and will tell you why.
8. Plans and payment
There is a free plan and a paid plan. Current prices are on the pricing page and include any tax due where you are.
Paddle is our merchant of record. Your contract for the purchase itself is with Paddle.com Market Ltd, who take the payment, charge the right local tax and issue your invoice. Their terms apply to the transaction; these terms cover the service.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
- You can cancel any time from the billing portal in your dashboard. Access continues to the end of the period you have paid for.
- Refunds are set out on the refunds page: 14 days from purchase, in full, no questions asked.
- If a payment fails and stays unpaid, the account drops to the free plan rather than being deleted.
If you are a consumer
Where you buy as a consumer rather than for a business, you have 14 days to withdraw from the purchase. We honour that as a full refund of the first payment even if you have already started using paid features — see the refunds page. Nothing here affects your other statutory rights.
9. Your data and your content
Your AWS configuration data remains yours. We use it to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell it, and we do not use your data to train AI models.
The service itself — the software, the scanners, the way findings are explained — remains ours. You get a licence to use it while your account is active, not ownership of it.
If you send us feedback or a feature idea, we may use it without owing you anything for it.
10. Availability
We work to keep the service up but do not offer a guaranteed uptime level. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue something significant we will give reasonable notice, and if you have paid in advance for a period we cannot deliver, we will refund the unused part.
11. Warranties and liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for:
- Loss or damage caused by changes you make to your infrastructure, however prompted.
- Savings you expected and did not get.
- Lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or indirect and consequential loss.
Where we are liable, our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period, or €100 if you paid nothing.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under Portuguese law. If you are a consumer, your mandatory statutory rights stand regardless of what this section says.
12. Ending the agreement
You may stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time, by emailing privacy@junglecleaner.com. Deleting the IAM role in your AWS account cuts off our access immediately, whether or not you have told us.
We may terminate for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, normally after asking you to put it right.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will email account holders at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them; if you do not, cancel before they apply.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
Talk to us first — most things are a misunderstanding and we would rather fix it. If that fails and you are a consumer, you may refer the dispute to Centro de Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo de Lisboa (CACCL), or record a complaint in the national electronic complaints book at livroreclamacoes.pt.
Otherwise the courts of Lisboa, Portugal have jurisdiction.
