You pick the channel
Slack's install screen includes the channel picker. We never join every channel, and we never post to #general unless you pick it.
Jungle Cleaner finds forgotten and over-provisioned AWS resources. The Slack app posts when a scan turns up something new, and when a saving is verified — into one channel you choose on Slack's install screen.
Pro feature. You need a Jungle Cleaner account — we will send you to sign in or upgrade if you do not have one yet.
Slack's install screen includes the channel picker. We never join every channel, and we never post to #general unless you pick it.
Each scan is compared to the last one. Only new waste is posted — up to ten lines, then “+N more”. A first scan posts a single summary instead of a list.
When Jungle Cleaner confirms a resource is gone and the saving is real, the channel gets one message for that run. Replays do not notify.

Slack notifications are included with the paid plan, not sold separately.
Use the button above, or the one on the dashboard. Pick the channel. You land back on the dashboard with a confirmation, and a hello is posted to the channel so you know the wiring works.
New findings and verified savings go to that channel. Disconnect any time from the dashboard — we revoke the token on Slack's side.
The app asks for incoming-webhook only. That lets it post to the channel you picked. It cannot read messages, list members, join other channels, or act as you.
We store the workspace name, channel name, webhook URL, and a bot token used solely to revoke the install when you disconnect. We do not read anything out of Slack.
